L’shanah tovah. As we wish you and your family a good year ahead, we know for many people, the New Year will not be as happy as it could be.
UJA-Federation of New York and its network of more than 100 beneficiary agencies reaches out to men, women, and children in New York and around the world. Our network responds to crises, feeds the hungry, houses the homeless, and provides assistance to those who find themselves in a place of need. All this is possible through the generous support of donors like you. During the High Holidays, please take a moment to reflect on the good things in your own life. And then please take a moment to make a difference in someone else’s.
Making Great Things Happen
In New York and around the globe, we offer assistance to those in need.
In just the past year, our network:
- Prevented a woman in New York who lost her job from joining the ranks of the homeless by helping her keep her home while she looked for new employment.
- Provided critical recreational and social programs for 8,700 children with autism.
- Offered trauma and relief services to thousands of Israelis who are casualties of war and terrorism.
